Am loving this book. Written in allegory style similar to Hinds Feet on High Places--very well done and interesting. Disappointed there was some bad language early in the book with some gang members but the rest is fantastic!

A Great Story! Very Inspirational! May 15, 2016

I loved this book. It was nice to read an inspirational story, and recommend it to anyone who would like an uplift. I especially liked that it was faith based YA story without vampires and ghouls. In it, Hope Proper is a girl who, even though she's young, inexperienced, and sheltered, listens to God's command and steps out of her comfort zone. She seeks what many believe is impossible to find, but she never gives up her goal....Read More on Amazon

Julie Ard says Kathy Bryn has created an exceptionally inspirational character in Hope Proper. She is a young woman that, obedient to God’s will, courageously steps out of her comfort zone. With unshakable faith, she seeks what many tell her is impossible to find. As she navigates the many trials and temptations she encounters on her journey through-out this series, designed to steer her off course, she remains steadfast. She knows in her heart she will, through God’s command, find what she seeks.

Author Penny MacPherson says, Captivated from the first page, I couldn’t tear myself away. What happens when God decides to take you on a journey with Him? Hope, a woman from Epoh is about to find out. On a quest to get with God, she’ll settle for nothing less than a face-to-face Garden-of-Eden encounter. From worldly Babylonia, on to the outskirts of war-torn Jerusalem, into the suffocating clutches of Christianton, and planning a risky and daring escape to Zionopolis, Hope will not stop until she finds Him. Not even a budding romantic relationship has the power to draw Hope (away) from her pursuit.

Gale Moody says the definition of "hope" is to desire with expectation of obtainment. This fits our heroine, Hope Proper, who is on a quest to know God as Adam and Eve knew Him. Like us, she travels many roads on her quest - some will be familiar to you - but she doesn't give up as she fully expects to find what she seeks.

I loved the first book March 7, 2017

I loved the first book, Beyond the Mist, so had to get this one! They are so well written and an enjoyable read. It is like a modern female version of Pilgrim's Progress; a great adventure to finding God. I highly recommend these two books.
