Hallelujah Christ Has Risen

A beautiful Easter guest-post by Rev. Evelyn Johnson-Taylor

Easter Brings Freshness

Easter is about new beginnings, there is a feeling of renewal and freshness in the air. For Christians, it is an important holiday that we celebrate remembering the resurrection of Jesus Christ. For those grieving the loss of a loved one, the story of Easter can often be a source of hope and comfort. Jesus' death and resurrection offers eternal life to those who believe. Knowing this makes the sting of death less painful. As believers we know that death on earth is not the end. It's really more of a beginning and we are assured that if our loved one died in Christ, they are with the Lord. "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8 (KJV). Apostle Paul is expressing confidence in the fact that his earthly existence is not the end. As believers we have the same promise. In Revelation 14:13 (KJV) "And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." Death is not the end for Christians rather the beginning. That's the true message of Easter. Evelyn J Taylor Ministries Women of Promise Author/Pastor evelyn@evelynjtaylor.org This Easter, rise with our Lord Jesus Christ into heavenly places, to new heights, new beginnings. Enter into His LOVE today and always.

Hallelujah, Christ is Risen!
